For instance, Feng Shui says that painting your front door red or green will usher in tremendous opportunities that will take your luck to the next level. The front door symbolizes the 'mouth of Chi' and that's where the fresh, vibrant, happy energies from the outside come calling to push away the stale, stuck or stalled stuff. This main entryway is literally considered the entrance of all opportunities to enhance and improve your life. This portal to all things personal impacts your thoughts, health, happiness and prosperity. Painting this door red is the Feng Shui gold standard, as red is considered the single most auspicious color in this whole philosophy and has been known to corral career, love and money energies right into your living space. If you're looking to radically improve your fortunes, then improve the entryway by painting your front door. If painting is not possible then at least give it a thorough cleansing and scrubbing, and then put something bright red around it, like a red, flowering plant in a red container. When placed to the left of the door as you look at it from outside, this plant will invite luck, abundance and prosperity to come and set a spell. Lastly, put a green leafy plant on the left-hand side of the kitchen sink.
